Join us for a fun and interactive arts and crafts session where children can create their very own Princess Mary Gift Tin to take home.

Along the way, our friendly staff and volunteers will introduce young visitors to the story of the Princess Mary Gift Tin, a special First World War keepsake sent to soldiers and explain why it remains an important piece of history today.

There will be plenty of hands-on making, learning, and discovering, and families are also invited to visit our object handling station to explore real historical items up close. It’s a creative and engaging way for little ones to learn about the past while having fun.
